The DBH 1254Vit oil seal is a single-lip radial shaft seal that keeps lubricant in and contaminants out. With a 105 mm shaft diameter, 130 mm housing diameter, and 12 mm height, it fits larger shaft sizes. It is commonly used in gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, and other industrial machinery running at moderate speeds in continuous service.

This seal features an A 156-R AH design, which includes a retaining lip and a stainless steel spring. The lip is made from an oil- and temperature-resistant elastomer, while the outer body is steel with an anti-corrosion coating. The 1254Vit code indicates the series and the lip compound, a highly wear-resistant material.

You will find it in gearboxes, centrifugal pumps, electric motors, conveyor rollers, and power transmission equipment. Mounted on the shaft and inside the housing, it prevents oil leaks and blocks dust or water ingress. For severe conditions, an auxiliary lip or a more resistant material may be needed.
