The Dayco 5071013 is a 7-rib automotive serpentine belt with an effective length of 2573.02 mm and a width of 24.38 mm. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true from the start.

Check each sheave for wear, nicks or debris, and confirm the ribs are clean and undamaged. Misalignment or a rough groove will shorten belt life and can cause noise even when the belt itself is correct. Spin the pulleys and idlers by hand to feel for play or roughness.

Verify the tensioner moves freely through its range and that no accessory pulley is seized. The 5071013 is a 7-rib belt, so every rib must seat fully in its groove. If the old belt shows cracking, glazing or missing ribs, correct the cause before installing the replacement.

When you request a quote, send the part number 5071013 and confirm the rib count and length from your old belt. The MR team can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent. We supply maintenance, engineering and purchasing teams across the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.
