The Dayco 17255 is an automotive V-belt with a 13.46 mm width and a 647.7 mm effective length, measured at a 36° angle. Before fitting a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement runs true.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or debris that can shorten belt life. Confirm the belt sits correctly in the groove and that pulleys are aligned. A worn sheave can damage a new belt even when the part number is correct.
The Dayco 17255 is identified by its 13.46 mm width and 647.7 mm effective length. Match these dimensions to the belt you are replacing. If the old belt marking is unreadable, measure the effective length and width before ordering.
