Timing belts have teeth that mesh with pulleys of matching pitch, so they deliver synchronized motion with no slip. Pick them when the drive ratio has to stay exact and space is tight, as in automation, printing, packaging and positioning. You specify pitch and profile, width and length, and the pulley has to share the same profile.
SKF part numbers spell out length, profile and width: PHG 1000-5M-15 is a 1000 mm belt in 5M profile (5 mm pitch), 15 mm wide, and PHG 1000-8M-20 uses the 8M profile with an 8 mm pitch. With DODGE, 60XL025 means 60 teeth, XL profile (5.08 mm pitch) and a 0.25 inch width, and 70XL025 reads the same way. HTD, HT250, HT500 and DYNA-SYNC are DODGE designations and should be ordered in full.
They run precision drives in machine tools and in packaging, textile, food, printing and automation equipment, as well as pumps, compressors and fans that need constant speed. Run the belt at the tension the manufacturer specifies: too little and the teeth jump, too much and the belt and bearings wear out early.
We carry SKF and DODGE timing belts. Send the full part number by WhatsApp or email, or measure the old belt and give us profile, pitch, length and width. A cross-reference from another brand helps too: we will identify the matching belt and send you a quote promptly.
Dimensions and tolerances: Message us the part number on WhatsApp and we'll verify its dimensions and version with the manufacturer's datasheet.
