ASA 180 roller chain
ASA 180 roller chain has a 2 1/4" (57.15 mm) pitch per ANSI B29.1, and we list 30 part numbers from DIAMOND, SKF, and TSUBAKI. Tell us the part number, how many strands and what length you need, and we'll quote it.
Read the pitch from the ASA number: the first digit (or first two) counts eighths of an inch, so ASA 40 works out to 4/8 = 1/2" and ASA 80 to 8/8 = 1". The final digit tells you the type: 0 for standard roller chain, 1 for lightweight chain (ASA 41) and 5 for rollerless bushing chain (ASA 25 and 35).
A quote only needs the part number stamped on the link plates. If you can't read it, measure the pitch (center to center between two neighboring pins) and the inside width, then tell us the number of strands and how many pitches or meters you need.
Besides the brands below, we manufacture our own ANSI roller chains with up to six strands.
