A cylindrical roller thrust bearing is built for load along the shaft axis. Its rollers have line contact with the raceways, so it supports heavy axial loads with minimal deformation and very high rigidity. It is single direction, taking axial load one way only, and it cannot self-align. Size it by shaft and housing diameter, axial load and speed.
In the 811 series, multiply the last two digits by 5 to get the bore, except in the smallest sizes; NTN's 81128, for example, has a 140 mm bore. A prefix identifies the component: K81128 is the roller and cage assembly, WS81128 the shaft washer and GS81128 the housing washer. Order them separately when the machine itself provides the raceways. SKF's TN suffix (81104 TN) and INA's TV suffix (81104-TV) both indicate a polyamide cage. NSK has its own designations, such as 140 TMP 12.
You will find them on vertical shafts, rotary tables, press columns, gearboxes, vertical pumps and hoisting mechanisms. Both washers must sit on flat surfaces square to the shaft, because this bearing tolerates misalignment poorly.
We carry INA, NTN, SKF and NSK cylindrical roller thrust bearings. Send the complete part number by WhatsApp or email, or the shaft and housing dimensions with the direction of load, and we will quote it promptly. Replacing another brand? We will suggest the equivalent.
Dimensions and tolerances: Message us the part number on WhatsApp and we'll verify its dimensions and version with the manufacturer's datasheet.
