An angle ring is an accessory, not a bearing. It goes together with an NU design cylindrical roller bearing, whose inner ring has no ribs, and supplies a flange that the inner ring bears against in one direction. With it, the assembly can carry axial load in that direction and locate the shaft, which an NU bearing cannot do by itself.
Every part number starts with HJ and then the number of the cylindrical roller bearing it pairs with: NSK's HJ 204, NTN's HJ222 or SKF's HJ 212 EC are selected according to the NU bearing in your machine. Trailing letters such as E or EC are execution variants specific to each manufacturer, so ask for the part number with every suffix.
Angle rings are used in gearboxes, electric motors, pumps and fans wherever the shaft must be located axially in one direction. The ring only carries axial load one way: if the load reverses in operation, the bearing arrangement has to be reconsidered. Selection follows the matching bearing, because the diameter, width and abutment geometry must line up.
We carry NTN, NSK and SKF angle rings. Send us the ring part number, or the NU bearing part number with its suffixes, plus any cross-reference from another brand you may have. We will identify the compatible ring and quote it via WhatsApp or email promptly.
Dimensions and tolerances: Message us the part number on WhatsApp and we'll verify its dimensions and version with the manufacturer's datasheet.
